Traxo Awarded Patent for Its Core Corporate Travel Technology

Victoria

DALLAS, May 11, 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Traxo, Inc., the world’s only provider of real-time corporate travel data capture, today announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) reviewed and awarded the Company its second patent. This patent, No. 11,328,258, demonstrates Traxo’s ongoing commitment to innovation and leadership within the global corporate travel industry and further strengthens Traxo’s intellectual property position, while serving to protect the Company’s groundbreaking, comprehensive corporate travel intelligence platform.

Traxo’s Filter patent titled, “System and Method for Enterprise-wide Travel Email Filtering, Processing, Visualization, and Data Distribution,” covers Traxo’s ground-breaking and unique approach to comprehensively capturing and processing travel transactions in real time from more than 1,000 travel suppliers and travel booking sources, within seconds after they are booked. Once Traxo parses and processes it, this pre-trip booking data is immediately made available to Traxo clients and then distributed onward to various endpoints throughout the corporate travel ecosystem as directed by the client’s corporate travel manager.

According to one of the patent inventors and Traxo Chief Product and Information Officer Matt Griffin, Traxo recognized early on that corporate travel teams were missing vital tools to help them deliver on their core needs of employee safety and T&E spend management for their companies.

“There was not a single solution on the market that provided a way to comprehensively capture critical travel booking data, no matter where it was purchased, with zero friction, and in a manner acceptable by enterprise IT departments,” Griffin noted.

“So, in 2017, we invented the solution to meet that need, and today we’re pleased to say it’s deployed throughout the United States, Canada and five European markets — Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, and UK – with plans for continued expansion.”

This patent grant further expands Traxo patent portfolio, which now totals five patent applications and two issued patents. The Traxo patents include sophisticated technology and engineering developments within corporate travel and serve to protect the Company’s business and provide a safe haven for its customers and partners. Traxo’s entire patent portfolio has been licensed to multiple entities within the travel industry. As summary of the full Traxo patent portfolio can be found at: https://www.traxo.com/patents

“As pioneers in corporate travel data capture, we continuously strive to drive innovation to meet our clients’ needs,” said Traxo Chief Executive and Founder Andres Fabris, “Having our creativity recognized by the USPTO as unique and applicable travel industry innovations is a source of pride for the entire Traxo team and should also be comforting to our investors, customers, and partners. This newly issued patent demonstrates Traxo’s commitment to developing and meeting unmet technology needs within the ever evolving corporate travel ecosystem.”
